Cleaning Products

Post by geoffdean on Tue Mar 07, 2017 8:50 pm

Who is God?
The great cleanser.

What has he done for me?
Made me clean.

What does he promise?
He forgives my sins when I confess them to him.

Interpretation:
God listens. He hears our cry for clean hands. He takes away the sins and makes us clean when we cry out to Him and acknowledge that we are not perfect.

Application:
I need to be in daily, hourly, minutely, secondly conversation with God. That is how often I NEED to be confessing. I am a sinner. He is the cleanser. When I would get sap on my hands from cutting wood when I was younger, I learned that gasoline was the only thing that would remove it from my hands. (While in the wilderness). I sought out the gas, I needed the gas, I was made clean by the gas. It did me no good to try to clean my hands with anything else. It was a total waste and many times made it worse. Okay so maybe its not the best analogy, but the point is God is the ONLY thing that can clean my filth. It does me no good to seek cleanliness form any things/one else. It is a total waste of time and often makes it worse. I NEED to seek him out. I NEED to need him. I am made clean by Him.

Belief Statement:
I believe that God is the only way to be clean.

Right on bro - and I personally love the analogy (and also the useful tip - I hate trying to get wood sap off my hands when wood turning some green wood)
