Why do we value garbage?

Everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
Oh how I wish I had this attitude. Too often I find myself valuing so much that this world has to offer.
Why to I step over gold to pick up and collect garbage?
Jesus offers gold, the world offers worthless garbage. I pray that I will seek the gold.

Belief Statement:
I believe that Jesus is enough. If all is lost but Him, I am richer than I could ever be.
