Full trust in God

I am always amazed at how the writers of the Psalms have full trust in God.
Not just when things are going well, they trust that God is working when things are going bad.
They see an opportunity to repent and reflect on their own actions in times of stress.
I wish I had that much trust in God.
I trust when things are going good, but rarely reflect of my responsibility when things are not so great.
I might think that Gid has a better plan, or think that all things work for good.
But I do not think what do I need to repent of so that I may find favor with God again.

Belief Statement:
I believe that God want me to repent of my wrong doings. Not just "know" that I am forgiven and saved.
